Search Sevier County Jail Inmates

Sevier County Jail is the serving regional jail facility to check when a Wayne County inmate lookup involves a person transported out of Wayne County. Wayne County does not operate its own jail, so Sevier County Jail may handle custody, mail, video visits, commissary, phone service, and jail record requests for some Wayne County jail-sentence matters. Look up inmates at Sevier County Jail through the sheriff app, direct phone confirmation, VINE, court records, and state or federal locators when custody changes.

Sevier County Jail Overview

Sevier County Jail is operated by the Sevier County Sheriff's Office at the Richfield public-safety complex. It is not physically in Wayne County, but it is the jail named in the official UDC jail-programs material for Wayne County sentenced jail offenders. The Wayne County emergency services page lists Sheriff M. A. Gulley, and Wayne County Sheriff's Office in Loa remains the local law-enforcement and records contact for Wayne arrests. The facility role is important because families often need jail-specific rules after transport, including visits, mail, phone, commissary, and requests for jail booking records.

The official Sevier app/site includes modules for Inmate Search, Recent Arrests, Inmate Mail, Commissary Deposit, Courts, Bail Bonds, Fingerprinting, Inmate Handbook, Inmate Demographics, Felony Release Report, GRAMA, records requests, and video visits. During research, the public inmate and recent-arrest feeds showed no current entries. That makes phone confirmation essential before travel, deposits, mail, or visit scheduling.

Sevier County Jail Population

Official Sevier inmate-demographics data counted 589 booked persons during 2025. That figure is facility-wide and should not be labeled as a Wayne-only population. It does, however, describe the serving jail that Wayne County pages must cover. The same source counted 451 male bookings, 138 female bookings, 174 pre-sentence booked persons, 52 sentenced inmates, 2 weekend-sentenced inmates, and 14 people coded as hold for state prison.

The jail capacity was not stated on the official Sevier pages reviewed. UDC's Wayne-specific fact is that Wayne County has zero jail beds and sends sentenced jail offenders to Sevier County Jail.

Look Up Sevier County Jail Inmates

The correct first facility system is the Sevier County Sheriff app or site. It has inmate-search and recent-arrests features, plus a jail information menu. Because those public feeds were empty during inspection, a search should include direct phone confirmation and external custody tools. UDC should be used only after state prison, probation, or parole custody begins. BOP and ICE are separate federal systems.

  1. Open the Sevier County Sheriff official app site and check the jail information features.
  2. Use the inmate search or recent-arrests feature if it is displaying public records.
  3. Call Sevier County Sheriff's Office at 435-896-2600, or verify the commonly listed jail line at 435-896-2660.
  4. Search VINE, Utah Courts Xchange, or UDC depending on whether the question is custody, charges, or sentenced state custody.

The official Sevier app is also available in the Apple and Google app stores for users who need its jail information and records modules.
